:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

OK, friends... The finals are all coming to a close, the semester is being put to rest, and guess who's feeling nostalgic! :)

So, I was wondering: looking back on this VERY eventful semester, what are you MOST thankful for? What has God done these past several months? Thoughts, testimonies, or hilarious memories are all more than welcome. Share with the Southern fam!

I think everybody was recovering from exams when you wrote this post.

I am most thankful for seeing God's faithfulness in giving endurance to his elect. Over the years I have seen some friends who claimed to believe in Christ totally drop out of the race. I grieve over this, but I also rejoice in all the friends who are running the race strong. I am thankful that I can be an encouragment to them and they can be an encouragement to me. All by the gace of God.

God has really shown me how beautifuly the Scriptures are put together. I have learned a lot from Dr. Schreiner about seeing the letters in the NT as chained links. For example, the author of Hebrews speaks of Christ being better than angels. He would make this emphasis because the law was ordained by angels. It seems as though all the "better statements" about Christ have to do with the law. When I use to read Hebrews I just thought to myself, "cool Jesus is better than angels." I thought that was the just of the argument but there is obviously a reason the author wants to make this point. So all the better than statements link together.

For me the funniset moment this semester was when Mike Ward impersonated Dr. Schreiner while pretending to be at fencing practice. I laughed so hard.

Also a guy whos is good friends with Tyler decided to make flyers that said there would be a party at our apartment. He then proceeded to pass these flyers out without telling any of us about the party. When I heard what had happend I thought it was funny and was actually excited to hang out with people. Then I really found out how pathetic our apartment really is. None of us could make to our own party. We all had plans on that day so the party had to be moved next door.
