Have A Happy ASHBY Day!

Ladies and gentleman, without further adieu, I am ECSTATIC to announce that - after intense anticipation, incredible patience, and NUMEROUS bags of Uncle Willy's microwave popcorn scarfed while sitting on the edge of our seats...

TODAY

is

(Insert agonizing breath of suspense *HERE*)

JIM ASHBY #3's 25th BERFDAY!!!

To commemorate this gala event, I would like to cordially invite all admirers of our beloved Jimbo to post, toast, and roast him on this special "birthday card," which will be unveiled to the Birthday Boy after the debut of his long-awaited returning TV show, "LOST."

On a personal note:

Jame Henry Ashby III...you are the love of my life. There is no other man that I could spend the rest of my days with, and that is why I am here by your side. The day we met was the day the Lord introduced me to my best friend and soul mate. The Lord's authorship and compassion is so beautifully transparent in the man that you are, and the man you are becoming. May you look back upon these past 25 years as the time you loved and knew the Lord the least, as our Father continues to inspire and increase your love and hunger for Christ, and spurs you on in perseverance and faithfulness.

WE LOVE YOU!!!

Jim Ashby III,
I am proud to call you friend and even prouder (or more proud?) to call you hero. Your physique humbles me. If only I could be like you one day, then the whole earth would rise and call me blessed.
Happy Birthday and God bless,
Hutch

Happy Birthday Jim!!

Maybe the next time we're in a crowded living room you can show us some more of those yoga ball moves. :)

It's so much fun to work with your wonderful wife!

Hmm... Jen gave us the option to post, toast, or roast you, Jimbo. I commence doing all three, in reverse order! Ahem...

Here goes:

1) Roast: My favorite laugh-out-loud memory of Jim... him singing "Gaston," complete with choreography and the blessed line, "And every last inch of me is covered with HAIR!!"

2) Toast: *ping ping ping* To the man who our generous God has brought into our lives as a dear friend, honorary brother-in-law, and irreplaceable YouTube buddy. We love you!

3) Post: Jim, all joking aside, I am so glad that God brought you and Jen together - it was a blessing to celebrate with you at your wedding celebration, as it has been every day that has followed. We appreciate your kindness, eagerness to love others, and desire to honor and obey the Lord in all things. Thank you for being my friend - have a great birthday!

Well, Jimbo, hats off to you! You have reached a monumentous birthday and we are so glad to be around to witness this new year of life.

Donna pretty much said everything I could say but better.

1) Your "Gaston" impression is incredible and I really think you should go Broadway with your act. You already have your beautiful "Belle" (ahem, Jen...smile). One more thing, your Nacho Libre recreational pants...that was hilarious! Hahaha!!! Now I am picturing you and Jen in your apartment eating toast! LOL (rolling on floor)

2)Hear, hear! I second Donna's motion...dear friend, honorary bro-in-law, "24" memories, and that amazing grain bread you brought into our lives!

3) You are pretty much awesome and I am so thankful God chose to put you two together. You guys (as a couple) are becoming more and more endearing all the time as you grow in being "one" and I am excited about what the Lord has in store for you this year!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Jimmy,

Happy Birthday from the Spencers!!! We do miss and love you very much.

We hope you have a super-duper happy birthday and may these greetings from all your friends help make it so.

May your birthday be filled with blessings, encouragement, and just a tad bit of fear as you continue to turn to look over your shoulder, half expecting to see Ricky with a rope and stink bait. ;-)

Seriously, any time you guys are in the mood for a trip down to Murray and a visit to Hardin, please come stay with us!

Much love,

--Wes & Laura

Jim,
You light up my life. You tickle my fancy. You are a true American Treasure. And...what are you guys doing for the super bowl? :)
But seriously, thanks for being a great friend, a pillar of truth and grace, as well as a stud (especially in a kilt). I look forward to many moons knowing you better.
Gracie and Peacie,
Jason

Happy birthday, Jim!!!

My favorite memory of knowing you so far (short as that has been) would absolutely have to be the scene we caused at your wedding reception, as fellow Wildcats:

"Whoooooaaaa.....C-A-T-S, CATS CATS CATS!!!!!!!!!!" :)

Thanks for making my dear sweet Jen such a happy girl! Have a fabulous birthday!

Jim,

Happy 25th birthday, my friend! Truly you picked an auspicious day upon which to be born. It's actually a well-known fact that those of us fortunate enough to be born on January 31st turn out to be, among other things, the best blindfolded tap dancers this planet has to offer. In our cases, I simply blame our lack of fantastic & well-deserved fame on the fact that we've never tried...

In all seriousness, a very happy (belated) 25th birthday to you, brother. May God continue to richly bless you in the coming years as you serve Him faithfully!

Happy Birthday Jim,
May God allow you to number your days and get a heart of wisdom, and may you be helped to redeem the time because the days are evil.

Jim
Hope you had a great birthday!
I tried 3 times to get my info to work on the blog. No use..I'm not as computer savvy as my son.
We are blessed to have you as a son, and have prayed for you for 25 years now. First for your "wife to be" which you now have. We will continue to hold you both up in prayer as God grows you into the a mature spiritual walk with him. Have fun growing old together..we are!

Just be sure to listen and follow the Lord's leading and try not to analyze everything as seminary students often do.

We love you.
